Heather Dart is a professional aerialist specializing in aerial hoop, aerial pole, and dance trapeze. She has toured the United States and abroad, but is currently residing in Chicago, IL. She is a current cast member in the intimate ensemble show, Brave Space, directed by Shayna Swanson. With Brave Space, Heather has performed at esteemed festivals including Montréal Complètement Cirque in 2023 and the 2022 & 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Currently you can find her dazzling audiences at various night clubs, private parties, and cabarets in the Chicago area.

Her solo work focuses on combining high-level skills with seamless transitions, musicality, and emotion. She aims to find the ways in which strength and power can be soft and feminine. Heather is based in Chicago, but is available for hire across the United States and abroad as an aerial performer.

Heather began her performance career in 2013 with burlesque troupe Carnivale Debauche performing burlesque dance, fire hula hooping, and fire eating. She began training aerial that same year. In 2018 she completed Aloft Circus Arts’ two year Professional Training Program and has been performing aerial ever since.

Outside of circus Heather spends her time spoiling her two cats and watching horror movies.
